By visiting or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. General Information

Taste of Home by Bibi is a Canadian-based food business specializing in authentic African food products, including palm oil, snails, crayfish, garri, and other traditional ingredients.
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect once posted on our website.

2. Orders and Payments

  • All orders must be placed through tasteofhomebybibi.ca.

  • Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Full payment is required at checkout.

  • We accept credit/debit cards and Interac e-Transfers.

  • Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.

  • An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

3. Product Availability

We strive to keep our product inventory accurate. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, you will be contacted to arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund.

4. Delivery and Pickup

  • Local Delivery: Available across Winnipeg and surrounding areas for a flat or distance-based fee.
    Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the package during the delivery window. Missed deliveries will require a new delivery fee for redelivery.

  • Shipping: For customers outside Winnipeg, orders are shipped using trusted carriers. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on location and carrier delays.
    Taste of Home by Bibi is not responsible for shipping delays once the package has been handed over to the courier.

  • Pickup: Available by appointment at designated times provided during checkout or confirmation.

5. Product Quality and Handling

All products are packaged to meet Canadian food-safety standards.
We guarantee that:

  • Dried items are properly sealed and moisture-protected.

  • Frozen items are shipped in insulated packaging with dry ice or gel packs to maintain cold temperature during the estimated shipping period.

Once a parcel is handed to the courier, Taste of Home by Bibi is not liable for temperature changes, carrier delays, or handling issues beyond our control.

6. Returns and Refunds

Because we sell perishable food items, returns are generally not accepted.
Please refer to our Refund & Replacement Policy for full details on eligibility, timelines, and resolution options.

7. Cancellations

  • Cancellations are only possible before your order has been processed or shipped.

  • Once an order is packed or handed to the carrier, it cannot be cancelled.

  • If we are unable to fulfill your order, a full refund will be issued promptly.

8. Liability

Taste of Home by Bibi is not responsible for issues arising from:

  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by customers,

  • Missed delivery attempts,

  • Improper storage or handling after delivery, or

  • Natural product variations (e.g., palm oil thickness, dried food colour).

We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders suspected of resale or fraudulent intent.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is used solely to fulfill orders and communicate with you about your purchase.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
